Texas Trip - Day 1 - Travel Day

My blog has been quiet the last few days because I took a trip to Austin, Texas to visit a college friend!  It was so nice to see her and I had a great time.  I took tons of photos so here we go!  Breaking this up into different days because I was afraid of it being too picture heavy :P

 First, I had to leave icky New Jersey.  What horrible weather!

We got the airport way early, I had already checked in, had no bags to check, and security was extremely easy to get in.  Basically, I had lots of time to kill.  What better to do than get a pedicure at the spa next to my gate!  Then it was a bit of all natural frozen yogurt.  Yum!

Then it was off to Texas!  The plane ride was fine and uneventful.  We even could see the Mississippi as we passed over.  It was hazy so the pictures aren't very interesting.  Here is Missy!

We headed out for dinner pretty much right away and some of Missy's friends came too.  I loved meeting them!  After dinner, we got Frozen Yogurt.  I loved this place!  You dispense your own and put on your own toppings.  You pay by the ounce.  Yum!!!  We need one of these in New Jersey, seriously.  Alyssa was nice enough to pose for me!
